FDC President attending a workshop in Berlin

Sportnetwork based in Berlin in Germany organized on Januar 11th, 2008 at the Berlin publishing house a workshop entitled „Under the shadow of the rings: Beijing 2008 Olympic Games between chance and shame“. Over 60 sportjournalists were present. 9 guests from different social circles made reports. FDC president, Mr. Fei Liangyong, was invited to give a speech on the present social and economic situation in China. He analysed in his speech „The incurable diseases of the CCP and the democratization of China“ the high costs of the economic development in China and the alarming problems which are escalating year after year in China, such as corruption, environmental distruction, the gap between the rich and the poor, etc. He appealed to world democracies, especially west media to support the democratization in China. In addition, he gave a brief introduction of Federation for a Democratic China and its advocations.

Seeking the Soul of Snow is the second book written by Sheng Xue which has been banned by the Chinese communist regime, even before it was published. It was finally published in Hong Kong at the end of year 2007 and is available in bookstores in HK. It can also be ordered at Beijing Spring. The book costs 16US$ with porto included.
