Dear Forum for a Democratic China and Asia Attendees, I am pleased to extend greetings as you gather to take part in the Second International Conference for Global Support of Democratization in China and Asia. I wish you success in discussing the fundamental human rights, freedom of press, freedom of religion, respect for the rule of law, democratization and security in Asia. Human rights, freedom and democracy are at the core of my vocation as a Member of Parliament. I believe that conferences such as this one have a crucial role to play to ensure the continued democratization of countries in Asia and throughout the world.
